Hi,

As much as love the 80 series, I've found that on long trips (500 or more miles), to be ion the back seat is not that comfy, not too much legroom. I can't aske the guy in front to move forward a bit beacause is 6.3 and he moved the seat as far as he can.
Any suggestions?????

Thanks,
Alex

The second row seat is much more comfortable if you can recline it just one notch. The fully upright position is too hard on the back for the longer trip. The multiple position reclining hinge is available outside of the USA - check the other thread on Mot visiting US if you are interested in the hinge.

I think Toyota screwed up the seating by going to three rows. It would be much more comfortable with just two rows and more leg room for each.

I suppose a good body man could move each row of seats back a bit. $$

Get a Sequoia if rear set comfort is the issue. Or a Nissan Quest, which has the most comfortable second row of seats on the planet (there is like 2 feet of legroom with the seat in the rearmost position). Putting an adult in the back for any 500+ mile trip sounds to me like you need a different (bigger) rig in a big way.
