Selling as I'm moving to Australia in July 2024. I'm listing this early to start collating details and plan for a timed sale as this is my daily driver. If any Aussies are moving to the US in the same time period and looking for a swap, let me know!

This has been in the Seattle area for it's lifetime. I purchased it in 2018.
Color: Light Blue on Dark Grey (25H)

My upgrades:

• ARB suspension with 2in lift
• BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 LT31/10.50R-15 (14k miles on them)
• Hitch Receiver sand blasted and powder-coated (scrapes on the bottom)
• Desmogged. I kept the parts if you want to re-smog (actually I have a 2nd set as well from my prior FJ62).
• Dual battery with switched relay. You can jump directly off the second battery with the touch of a button which saved my butt a few times.
• Both battery trays are stainless steel trays.
• 12v bus in engine compartment connected to the house battery.
• ARB refrigerator running off house battery. Wired outlet to trunk behind driver side 2nd row.
• Upgraded alternator and ground wiring (ih8mud purchase)
• Heated LED headlamps with working high beams and high beam indicator (ih8mud build)
• Rebuilt AC with new compressor running of R134a -- blows cold air! (documented here)
• Touchscreen radio with backup camera.
• Sound deadening on floors, doors and quarter panels. Cascade Audio VMAX-HD and VB-2 vapor barrier.
• Almost all engine seals replaced over the last 4 years -- I've only driven an FJ62 for the last 20 years. No leaks is something new to me.
• Gamiviti Rack

Maintenance:
Yearly checkups and all non-electrical work done at TorFab

• 2018 New water pump and replaced radiator hoses
• 2019 Front and rear breaks - Front brake calipers replaced with 4runner calipers, ARB suspension
• 2020 New Radiator and heat pump
• 2021 Rain gutter reseal, side cover gasket, transmission service, heater core flush
• 2022 Transfer case rebuild & rear main oil seal
• 2024 New break lines, welded new cat (was clamped), engine tune up, new receiver-drier (leak at connection), driver seat vinyl repair

Imperfections:

• Driver seat side rip -- NOW FIXED!
• Quarter size rust bit on driver side door (see photos). Early rust on c-channels
• Holes drilled at the front of the hood, I assume for a bug shield with prior owner (you can make them out in the first photo, more to come)
• Rear windshield wiper fluid not working. There is a break/disconnect in the hose somewhere.
• Dent in driver rear bumper (see photos).

Sale inspection at TorFab on 5/21/24 - Results attached below.

That's the dream. Pick up an Aussie FJ, fix it up, and bring that one back with me if/when I move back. I don't want to deal with trying that outside of my personal vehicle though.

Heads up may want to entertain transferring vehixle prior to july...many buyers may be hesitant to transfer day or two prior to you being across the globe in case there is even a clerical issue etc that needs your attention. best of luck and fantastically sharp! makes me miss my 60.

Agree that would be ideal, but going to be using it essentially until the day we leave. It may be feasible to gift to my dad first so he could handle any paperwork? I'll look into that. He's also in Louisville, and if it doesn't sell, it may end up there.

Yep. If you see a bright red FJ60 driving around Frankfort Ave, you've likely found my dad. He got me into this FJ madness a long time ago.

I'll be adding that shortly. I've asked them to update the report with the work done as a result of the inspection (break lines, engine tune up, cat welding - added this stuff above in maintenance).

Things they noted:
C-channels starting to rust (photo attached)
A/C belt worn/long
Leaks at rear main seal (just redone, asking about that), crank cover and oil pump gasket, side cover. Nothing on my garage floor.
