Recommendations for good quality seat covers? As you can see I have the standard Ute setup. I believe Toyota views this as a 3 place interior although 2-1/2 would be more accurate. My current interior is in "like new" condition and I would like to keep it that way.
Thanks

I like the Black Duck covers sold here. I had them on 2 vehicles and no sign of wear after 5-6 years. They do specials orders, so I imagine a LHD landcruiser wouldnt be a problem. They sell their products in France ect I had the light grey colour

My plan was to find and fit a seat in my 75 that can use the Escape Gear seat covers. I’ve seen them on a few 70s and they are really nice but pricey. I believe they have them for the stock 60/40 bench for a 75.

SoR TuffDuck or for more cash and a bit nicer Escape Gear. I have ran both and both are great.

Cheers
I plan to call Equipt Expedition Outfitters on Monday to see if they stock Escape Gear seat covers for my particular configuration.
Thanks

I have the SOR Tuff Duck in my 80. There are great and hold up. I have washed mine about 5 times due to me or someone else getting in with greasy pants. No AC in the Texas heat and the canvas isn’t that bad to sit on while sweating.

The Black Duck folks wrote me back today asking for interior photos. We'll see where this goes.

I picked up a set of Escape Gear ones from a local shop that had heaps at sale prices. I rate them above the Black Duck covers.

We have some black duck covers in work utes and they seem to have a bit more of a shine/ wax to them and the bottoms are Velcro linked underneath which tends to pull apart over time. the Escape ones i have in mine feel a lot nicer and harder wearing, and they link up with a strap/ buckle which hasn't moved on me yet.

Both are good, but the escape gear is a lot nicer in my option.

this is where i ordered mine, was $99 for the two fronts. they were for the new 78 series but fit my LJ78 perfect. only wish i got in quicker before they sold out of rear covers. Escape Gear

Quote from Black Duck ...... $463.00 ($110.00 of which was shipping) ...... OUCH!!

Pay to play. Like all things Land Cruiser.
I understand that concept as well as anyone however with any ongoing project it's prudent to prioritize your expenditures and +/- $470.00 for seat covers is a tad difficult to justify.
