I am looking for what 5 speed and adapter to use when swapping a 1uzfe lexus v8 into a fj40 with a 5 speed. I have looked for the past couple days. I know that I can use a w series trans out of a mini truck, but I will be using fj62 axles and need the LC case. I was thinking a h55 or a h151 transmission. Did Toyota ever put a 5 speed behind a Xuzfe? What other options do you guys recomend? Thank you

The 2uzfe came with a h151f in other countries. I think you can fit a r154 and r151 behind a 1uzfe. If you cannot find your answers from experience on mud try a google search. It looks like there is a lot information on the web.

I will use the stock Lexus ecu. I found an Toyota 2uzfe bellhousing for a 5speed nonUS market that will work.
