Did indeed go for a lift, Dobinsons 2-3” with 100LB+ springs up front and 200lb+ springs in the rear and JBA upper control arms to get some caster back. Been very happy with it all so far.
I feel I’ve had to do more trimming that others have for a similar tire/lift setup. I’ve done a BMC, moved the front fender liner forward 2”, trimmed the crap out of the rear fender liner (bottom 12-16” of it), several inches off the running board and I still get an occasional rub with off camber turning when suspension is stuffed a bit off-road. I think I need to flatten the pinch welds now. Not sure what gives there.
I liked the Stealth 6s enough I put some on the trailer too. It's running Jeep CJ-7 suspension with a 2" shackle lift

You're getting that much rubbing on 285/70/17s AND a 2" lift? I've got 285/65/18 and ever so barley rub- I'm going to 17" TRDs and figure I can do at least 275/70/17s, and was considering going to 285s.... now you got me rethinking
I'm thinking it depends on wheel offset. You're getting that much rubbing on 285/70/17s AND a 2" lift? I've got 285/65/18 and ever so barley rub- I'm going to 17" TRDs and figure I can do at least 275/70/17s, and was considering going to 285s.... now you got me rethinking

Mine are the same size but with a +10mm offset.Very true. For reference, my setup is 17x8.5 with a -10MM offset.
