Hey OP, how do you like that hitch haul? Would love to get one for our summer camping trips and get the coolers out of the back. Love the build! Nebula Gray GXs unite. Here's mine!

I like it so far. I just put it together yesterday.
It’s not a quality piece of gear like we talk about on this site but I think it’s gonna get the job done. I researched the options quite a bit and think I could have spent more but not sure it would gain me anything. I like that it clears the hatch to open (straight shank/low tray) and doesn’t have a super long shank so it works well with my rack attach swing hitch to swing it out of the way without hanging way too far back. The rack attach extends everything back.
It carried the empty coolers fine on a test run 30 minutes across town during rush hour.
If you want it not to sway you will need a hitch tightener of some type. The sway didn’t bother me.
I’ll have more input after I actually use it. So far not enough time to review. I am satisfied to this point.
It did take me over an hour to assemble as some brands seem to have less hardware to fasten.
I paid $100 at harbor freight. Think the sale is good until tomorrow, sure it’ll go on sale again.

I think the little gal is ready for whatever!

Read through the thread. Good stuff.
Yet another GX here in the Gville. Actually Simpsonville, but close enough I guess. We picked up the 22 460 a few weeks ago. Heading out to TN tomorrow for spring break.

Dang I bet that ‘22 is nice! Love seeing the Greenville Baby cruisers around. I’m building slowly. UCA upgrades are next on my build list. And sliders with @bashfab. He does excellent fab work. Just gotta have some time. Out of Columbia SC.

Splurged on the lifetime 55. Think this may be perfect 👌🏻
Best cooler purchase I've ever made. For the price it is made in USA, keeps ice just as well as a YETI, can be padlocked and is 1 hour bear proof (not that is always necessary), plus you can attach a garden hose to the drain in the event that you want to mount it somewhere and not remove it to drain the thing.

Yeti calls the smaller cooler a Tundra 35. They rely on marketing and brand so much for their premium. I’m super excited to try the lifetime 55 on a trip this weekend 👍🏻

one word: dryice, oh, wait or is it two words??
Personally, we love our fridges, both the small one for weekends and day trips and the large one for week long outings.

If you guys ever go with an electric cooler there is no going back to ice.

Welllllll, that's partially true. You still need ice.
One thing we found out using only an electric fridge is that there's NEVER any ice for drinks!!!! Ha-ha!
Still need ice! And one can't just dig it out of the cooler.

Solution:
We have a "growler" size Hydro Flask, it's at leash a half gallon size that we put ice in. That thing will keep ice for 4 or 5 days!

I have an electric fridge. Thinking about selling bc I don’t want to modify my rig for it. I did that in the tundra.
No need to modify at all. Simply purchase a small solar generator. I have a Jackery 300 that does the job wonderfully. I'm with you about building out this rig (or any rig). I'm all about simple and reliable.

If you get a dual zone then problem solved.

Very interesting, but I don't get how your system works.
Would you mind laying out how it all works?
Are you using a charging battery to run your fridge?
I may want to try this myself even though I have dual batteries.
