Starting to think we need to take over the Asheville area Riggs and coffee sometime!
I'd be down for that when i am physically in the States.🇮🇹

At home on a rainy day trying to figure out if my rack and awning will both arrive today 🤔
Rack is air freight. Awning is on the brown truck.

Asked for a sliders quote yesterday, with one filler plate deleted. Working out a trade for my TRD pro, forged tundra wheels 👍🏻

Just got a 2022 GX460. What's the biggest tire size you can fit on these GX460? 285s? Also any idea what the smallest wheel size you can run without hitting the brake calipers? I think it has 18s on it right now. Would love to go smaller if possible.

There are many resources available for this question, but my scenario is 285/70r17 2” lift 8.5” wide rims with 0offset. Lots of rubbing on plastic fender liner. Have had to trim a lot of it. No body chop needed for me.
Some feel the need to regear at this size, but it’s ok for me. Think any bigger and I’d want lower gears.

Looking to go with these here soon. Bashfab is a great custom protection and off-road fabricator in Columbia SC. He really knows his Toyotas. My Tundra sliders, bumpers, and skid were from him. Top notch work.

So thinking just remove the front fill-plate to have the ability to side strap. I would remove the front three, but I have a 3.5 yo. I don’t want any broken legs Bc of my truck. Let me know what you think.

Nice Rig!

Im running the same lift and tire size. I agree that I had to do a ton of cutting on the side step corners to get it to clear but it was worth it. Havent flexed mine yet to see about a Body Mount Chop but glad to hear you dont need one. Mine looks pretty darn close lol

Following along!

Well a long day with my ex-FIL. He was gracious enough to spend the whole day with me and help me pickup and install the rack.
Here are the pics I have for now!

Still need to attach the awning with the quick release mounts and reinstall the tower bolts with fender washers. They were in the rack hardware bag and not the tower hardware bag 🤷🏻‍♂️

That rack looks AWESOME!
What's that wet stuff all around you... Wait, I think I remember something like that happening quite a few years ago here in So. Cal.
Isn't it called rain???
Boy, it's been a while since we've seen any in these parts. :(

We have had a wet tropical season so far this year. My shrubs are probably going to grow a foot and then freeze burn 😑
I wish we could share the wealth with you folks out west that need rain so bad.

8 washers short of awning install. Didn’t come with awning or roof rack. Headed to hardware store.

Group camping trip in Brevard NC. And I finally cut the bumper. Wasn’t hard, looks great. Wish I’d done it sooner 👍🏻
