Does anyone know where I can find new Scepter military Fuel cans? I want 4-6 new ones with NO carb. color does'nt matter. Shipping to Arizona. thx

I'd go with the Steel cans from Wedco. You can get them at Expedition Exchange.

Thanks Ill check em out....

I have the 2.5 gallon Wedco, they are top quality cans, and they do not leak, even at elevation changes.

They will burp, but from reports I have read they will not spill.
They are modeled after the German WWII cans, and from what I read before, the US or British went with that type of can later as the cans they were using leaked a lot.

Here is where I got mine long ago.

Steel and plastic for fuel and water.

I had the red CARB compliant one, and the hose is separate to order.

I got my surplus Nato steel cans from Cheaper Than Dirt. I don't know if they still have them.
I also got some Israeli Military surplus cans from them. The NATO ones were used, whereas the Israeli ones were new. I'm super happy with them. They don't leak and are easy to transport.
When I need to fuel my rig, I use a siphon that I got from Expedition Exchange.
California residents, be aware that you can't buy fuel containers that are not CARB approved... The NATO cans are not.

Alvaro

I got my cans from a Land Rover expedition supply place on line and they skrewed up the order but finally made it right.

I have three gas and two water cans. I like them made in Canada to New Nato spec.

If you live in California you will have to buy or want to but the extra pour spout (EPA approved one).

I thought that Slee sales them now too.

OK. So I found them at equipt expedition outfitters in Salt Lake City. I talked directly Paul. He was a pleasure to talk to and sent them out minutes after the order. I ordered Mon, they should be here Wed. He said he has more on the way. He said he will order more untill the end of the year cut-off and Scepter will no longer supply them to civilians. I got the Scepter water cans from Gobi and they are suuuweeeeet!

If you are looking for Scep's Military Cans, you better order sooner than later. After the first of the year, they will no longer be available. I talked with Scepter dirrectly. They will no longer be available after the 1st of the year. Their H2O cans will be, but no more fuel military fuel!!!

call Sceptor and ask for the dealer in your area. you can also go to brigade quatermaster .com. I have gotten 2 from each location.

Is there any way to get the Scepter cans if I live in California? Do they sell them in Nevada cause I could always drive to Las Vegas.

Thanks
