J2013
Just picked this up last night in Benton AR.
Sold my 08 back in June, got a 100 kept it for about 10,000 miles. I had been romanticizing past ones that I’d owned. It just didn’t do it for me. Traded it for 2015 4runner limited with 33’s and it was cool but lacking in so many areas compared to a 200. Driving back to Tulsa last night I couldn’t be happier. These are the best vehicles period. I feel like the 2013’s doors are better insulated than the 08. They appear to open and close with a bit more substantial feeling. I could be dreaming... lol

200 series > 100 series > 150 series > 200 series. Wow, that's quite a journey that's come full circle. Welcome back!

Plans for her?

None, my last 200 had OME and 33’s. Thinking I’m going to roll stock for awhile.

Congratz, nice 200!

Can you share in some of the differences between the 154R and the LC? What were some of the positives and negatives of the 4R that made you want the LC?

Congrats! I picked up same year/color about 6 months ago. So much better than recent Tacoma & T4R. Had to try them all before going to the URJ200. Power, handling, towing, fit/finish, they don’t compare. Only downside for me is fuel. I’m still rolling stock as well but starting to get the itch. Mine is daily driver for another month or so, then thinking about going OME, 33s and LRA aux tank...down the rabbit hole again

First off I’m 41, and a family man.
It was smaller than I’m used to, poorly insulated, the lift and tire Combo never looked right. I didn’t like the visibility, it felt like half of a land cruiser. I felt like the 4runner was going to lose value too fast as well as they are a dime a dozen around Tulsa.

Once you’ve been to the top it’s hard to go back down the mountain.

This validates my thoughts. I had a 2014 4Runner Limited since new and did some things to it and overall really liked it and really thought I would keep it forever. I will always like the 4Runner for what it is. I've been watching this forum for years and finally decided that I needed the extra room with the kids. I ended up getting a 2011 LX 570 and other than the gas mileage and less appealing looks to me, it's a different level of quality and I hope to have it a long time. I can't wait to get a proper set of tires on it and take it off road properly.

Right on, once you get the tires it will really transform it. I had an 08 lifted etc.. It really changes the game. Cheers!

Lol, I have nothing to show beyond your basic white LX yet! I've only done LED fog/lows/highs and that's about it. I'm trying to sell my 4Runner still and the first thing will be getting some 275/65/20 Falken Wildpeaks and ditching the awful stock Michelins. This forum is truly a treasure and I hope to make my own contributions beyond the daily stalking of what everybody else is doing. Glad you made it back to a 200!

Agree! It is very hard to find anything else that beats the 200/LX with comparable reliability, refinement and true off-road capability. End of story.

So very true. Even though I had a 02 and 03 LC, nothing has been close to the LC.

WELCOME BACK!! :)

I loved my 100 too, but I wouldn’t go back to it now.
It’s a great truck for sure, but the bubble-butted 200 is an absolute beast in all its puffy glory

I’m betting it’s the comically large trim bumpers on 2013s.. those things might weigh 20# each.

Congrats

Solid. Welcome back, for what its worth, my buddy would occasionally see your old white one and always send me pics.
