@Ramathorn15 I don't drive around in H mode all the time. Only on occasion when Im alone and feeling it. I get enough complaints as it is with out the running boards from the wife and kids :smokin:

I will have my buddy at the yota dealer hook it up soon and tell me tho. What do u recommend I do to the rears ? Right now the back is 3/4 higher than the front according to ACC Garage when I picked it up.

When you run in H or trick the sensors to go higher, you transfer more of the weight onto the AHC shocks and less to the torsion bars and rear coils. This increased pressure within the shocks will likely lead to premature failure.

To compensate, you have to crank the torsion bars to get your front AHC pressures back to the factory recommended pressures. The rear is where it gets tricky. Theres no incremental adjustment for the coil springs in the rear. To get the rear pressures in spec, you have to add spacers or different coils to compensate.

I would stay in N and only use H when needed. It will save your AHC and you CV's if you don't have a diff drop. If you do want to go up, I would get the rear spacers, and adjust the height sensors until you get the pressures back in spec. It might not give you the full 2-3" that H mode does, but at least you will have the right pressures on your shocks. You would still need a diff drop in that scenario.

Your best bet is to get techstream set up on an old laptop so you can see where you're at now. Lots of times the older vehicles will already have high pressures at N just due to spring sag.

Or save up a butt load of money and rip it all out and jack it as high as you can get it!!! I'm so on the fence with keeping the AHC. I do know that I will have Dissent front and rear bumpers before I end up ripping it out. I like to drive a sweet ass Hundy that looks as bad ass as it really is. Part of that is a very well built suspensions setup that lifts the vehicle permanently. I'm just being honest, the lift will serve me two purposes; 1) It will function where I need to function, offroad and 2) It makes these rigs look really sweet!

So ummm...I may have the wife talked into saying yes to dropping 10k in mods. What would you guys do with this kid of cheddar at once!?

1) Get everything mechanically perfect (all fluids and maintenance items - including suspension)
2) Tires
3) Sliders
4) Front / rear bumpers
5) Roof rack

If there's anything left, spend it on camping equipment and overland excursions.

Tires are done. Roof rack will be the last thing. Here's my list and everything is from Slee:
Blueberry Bumper
Heavy lift kit
Rear bumper (but can and probably will go with Dissent for the rear)
Full skids
Sliders
Winch
This gets me real close to 10k. If there are any other things I want as a must have, is a group 31 battery and tray.

BTW drawers are already on the way.

Well after further discussion with @benc I am going to go with his front and rear bumpers. I may have the preliminary go ahead, but still need to dig around the couch cushions for the change needed!

The ih8mud stickers I think are on the front page somewhere.

For what it's worth I just had a mechanic do a full diagnosis on the vehicle and they said it's an awesome truck. Great service history and it shows in the fact that everything looks great mechanically.

So I have that peace of mind now.

The goal now is to dig deep into the couch and find the scratch to get the front and rear bumpers from @benc
