Unofficial GCLC trip to Dave’s Place, near Cairo, NY, this Saturday Nov 19th. Onsite there 10am-3pm. No facilities, no overnight camping. Just a couple hours in the woods.

We did have a great time out in the woods on what looks like might have been the last really nice day. Tee shirt weather in the Catskills in late November... outstanding!

Kristy you rocked it out there, I'm so glad you could make it. Plan on getting back to Dave's Place over Memorial day weekend and CMCC next July. And thanks for posting the pictures, they look great.

So the point of the trip was so that the Ben Preston of thedrive.com could get his FINALLY finished truck dirty... I think we hit that mark. I'll post up when the video from the trip is available. In the mean time go to thedrive.com and look at Ben's work in "The Build" section and be sure to find the episode with some Gotham folks on the beach in Brooklyn.

I think you did great. Dave's Place can be unforgiving when it's wet due to the shale and clay, but you handled it like a champ...even with your street tires
I'm glad you had a good time. Lending a hand to other drivers is what we do.
