Race? Is this one of those “races” where we all put our Cruisers in the lowest gear and see who’s Cruiser is last to cross the finish line?
Inside joke, years ago we convoyed to Death Valley together, devo’s 40 has stock engine, mine has Vortec 5.7 and nv4500 with 3.73:1 gears so it’ll do over 100mph easy.

Anyway, back to scheduled program!

The 37x12.50-17 Goodyear Boulder MT’s have landed. Good news, they don’t fit our managers Taco so we’ll be giving away 5 at the raffle.

Is there any insight into the status of those on the waitlist? My expectation is that the odds are very low, because no one will lightly back out from attending. But hope springs eternal ...

lots on the waitlist and not many have canceled, but some will last minute
It’s always hard to say.

Thanks for the feedback and confirming how things stand. Have a great time.

I am cutting it close with my Cruiser. It goes in to one shop next week, then to another after that for 3 weeks to get the final pieces ironed out. I will get it back one week before SAS. Yikes.

On another note, I saw this update on the Ouray County Road and Bridge FB page just now. I can’t find any info on whether Telluride is making progress on the washout just above town. The last that I saw the work went out to RFP and I didn’t see whether the work was awarded, and the expected timeline was long. That info was earlier in the year if I remember right. Does anyone else have a more recent update?

Seems like a lot of work to plow snow for a road that doesn’t currently connect, but perhaps I am mistaken and the other side has been fixed?

I found an update. The bid was awarded to HinksonBriggs according to the Telluride Daily Planet and the work start date seems to be pending.

Alright folks, the deadline for ordering extra swag is today June 10 at midnight CST. We will have a very limited excess of swag available so if you want some it will be on a first served bases. Pre-ordered swag will be in your registration bags. Emails were sent to all registrants via your email supplied from JotForm.
Thanks again for your support. Casey..

F’n Rad. Now let’s hope the Telly side gets some love. Regardless, there will be legendary runs.
The last that I heard Telluride needs cash. They had $155k in donations/contributions. I haven’t seen the bid amount that was granted recently but the local public radio suggested that it will be $6-800k. I thought those figures came from the initial assessment in October and the recent bids were well under that. In any event, they probably need around half a million. I’ll be keeping a close eye on this.

Telly needs cash?! That has to be one of the biggest oxymorons ever…. :) I love Telluride but they are sitting pretty so there must be some other reason beyond finances that is holding this back. Maybe Tom Cruise or Oprah didn’t pay their tax bill? Is the damage above or below the Idorado drifts that exit on to the Tomboy Road? If it’s below, maybe they are hoping Idorado/Feds will chip in so mitigation work can continue?

Joking aside, hoping this gets sorted for all as this impacts a lot of local businesses.
