Few things I wanted to share.

First, I still have space in my RV site #61 for someone if they're needing a spot or just want to consolidate two sites into one to save $ on the campsite. Site has power/water and so far it's only me and my brother who is flying in so we easily have space for another 1-2 trucks.

Secondly, I'll be coming from NC and taking I-40 all the way to Amarillo where I'll be meeting up with the TX crew. I'm leaving early on Thursday the 1st with a goal of getting to the Memphis or Little rock area by Thursday night depending on how motivated I am to continue driving that day. I'm still working on a specific stopping point but will get a hotel either in Memphis area or Little Rock. Then Memphis/Little Rock to Amarillo Friday. If anyone is going to be on that route on those days let me know and I'd love to convoy. Otherwise, I'll be solo in my 60 for those two long days. PM me if you are going to be on that route somewhere and want to meet up or convoy some of the way.

I started packing up the 60 today for the trip with camping gear and other necessities. Still need to pack tools, spares, and my junk into the truck. I think she should be pretty mechanically sound for the trip but will do a bath and a once over of the truck before I leave for the long pilgrimage to Ouray.

As you’re packing and planning, make sure to leave room for the possibility of new 37’s courtesy of our friends at Goodyear and Coloradoland Tire & Service.

We have a cabin that we won't be needing, CC12 CC6. If anyone would like it let me know and we'll get a transfer sorted out. Needs to be sorted out by Saturday or I'll have to release it to the open market.

@Zjohnsonua of your cabin is available AND if it is Deluxe Cabin with shower etc., Maureen & I will take it.

Please let us know. Thanks, John & Maureen

Thanks tho Zack. Trying to come up with a miracle. Anyway, we are glad you are coming.👍

<------This guy is ready for SAS #8. Who else is ready?
I just found out your amazing cat herder has found you all some good grub to eat each morning.

In other exciting news, I have a few sites that just became available. I only have people waiting for Deluxe Cabins in our waitlist now. I can release the other few sites that have become available due to cancelations over the last several days. You will need to call the front office at 970.325.4736 and let them know you are calling about the sites available for the Solid Axle Summit. First come first served when you make the calls.

Even though you might not think a site is in the SAS "group area" or not, you will see members all over the campground your group has a total of 89 sites booked in the campground.

Sites available:

2 Tent sites are available T13 and T29
1 Camping Cabin Available CC10
2 RV Sites are available. RV15 (Edited) is 42' long and RV P7 is 32' long Both are 30/20 Amp Back in, Water and Electric only.

Can't wait for all of you to get here. All of the trails are currently open (Including Black Bear), we've had a few mudslides here and there that have closed a couple of trails for a day or so at a time. We do have a lot of wildfire smoke in the area right now, coming from farther North and West. It's just making things hazy nothing that will affect your stay.

HEY EVERYBODY!
We will have Breakfast BURRRRRITTOSSSS For Sale and FREE Coffee until it's gone!

I have reached out to Marchio's Grill (pronounced Mark-e-o), a food truck from Ridgeway, to sell us Breakfast Burritos at the KOA, recommended by @ThatKOAGuy ! They are bringing their truck to us and will be parked across from T21 & T22 serving us Monday - Friday 7:30am - 9:00am or until they sell out.

We have never done this in the past, so this is a trial to see what our needs are. We don't know how many will sell each day so make sure if you want one that you are in line!
Chime in if you think you will be a daily burrito eater or just a few days... if I get a huge response either here or PM then I will let the owners know we need more!!

Big Breakfast Burritos with Eggs, Potatoes, Cheese, Chili (hot or mild) and your choice of Bacon, Sausage, Chorizo, or Veggie, he's got everyone covered.
$10 + Tax

Jeff Marchio will be the guy serving us and has also offered to have lunch options available for those who would like to grab a lunch to go. He did not tell me what he would be bringing for lunch, we have to wait and see!

Also, a reminder, there will also be FREE COFFEE every morning until it runs out... after 7:30am Mon-Fri but we could run out before Friday so plan for a backup if that happens.
Don't need any coffee junkies running around not knowing what to do.

YAY!

Jeff Marchio makes a great burrito or I wouldn't have even offered his name.

You will all enjoy the burritos. You can also find him in town if you're looking for something else great for lunch or dinner.
