You missed the coil spring? It's walmart for under 5 bucks can't be too picky
Agreed. Several things to ignore, but still pretty cool for a 5 spot.

Ahhhh, you're welcome! They said they were going to publish some, but I didn't know which ones they chose! Congrats to you!! Wish I could be there this year, however, I have another commitment.

I was going to weld a padded seat to my front bumper this year so you could ride in luxury!! Hopefully you will be able to attend next year!

We will miss you, my friend, but you're doing a very special thing and are needed elsewhere. We will smoke a cigar for you. And don't be surprised to get a Facetime request on raffle night. ;)

The rollover driver posted on the San Juans Facebook group that he pulled too far over while letting someone else pass.

Tuck those side view mirrors in and get cozy when you pass. Stay away from the soft downhill shoulder and only go as high as you need on the high side embankment.

Almost had a Jeep flop trying to pass on Imogene a few years ago because he was showing off going way high on the embankment.

Me three. There's a couple spots on mineral creek that get real cozy passing...I've had a few folks spaz out there (not this group, others on the trail). When people get scared and anxious they sometimes do dumb things or lock up entirely... to many people in a hurry. Don't let someone else's false sense of urgency ruin your day.

Don't ever be afraid to get out and kindly ask someone to relocate to a better passing spot for safety sake if you feel it's necessary. Same with offering to spot someone or just giving them a hand in general. Remember we are sharing these trails with all kinds of folks with all kinds of rigs and skill levels. Keep your head on a swivel around others and don't expect they will behave the same as everyone on this group.

T - 4 hrs vacation officially starts ..
Right there with you dude. It’s here right on time too… Just turned in my timesheet this morning. 31hrs overtime. Ready for a break and that Colorado weather.

@CenTXFJ60 , @BombCity , @80Lady and myself would like to thank all those people behind the scenes making Solid Axle Summit possible. There is close to 10 months of planning so you guys can join our little vacation in the San Juans with 75 + friends and family. See you guys in 8 days.
Casey...

Me on August 1st as I collect my paycheck and hit the road to Ouray for Land Cruiser Summer Camp:

Seriously, thanks to everyone that makes this happen. It’s a huge undertaking. Big respect.
