Hi guys, unfortunately I'm out this year. I'm bummed as I have a lot of family in SW CO and I've been wanting to be part of this summit for years. Ugh. Anyway, wanted to offer up my spot if there is a waitlist, or...?
Sorry to hear this Paul but thank you for the heads-up. The next person in line on the Waitlist has been contacted.

YES Of course you should !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet we could run the loop in an hr in that hahahaha .. But seriously id have to say no you would have to trailer to the trails Quray Cops dont mess around with OHVs due to all the side by sides .
It is technically licensed, tagged and insured in the state of VA! But it will stay at home this trip.

Still some steps left where I can screw it up, but these are starting to come together.

I don't know what is going to be done with these, but you're gonna want one. They are #superfuckincool
Really nice work !

My son last night- ‘should I change the oil? It’s due in 600 miles’ 🤷‍♂️😂 My dads co piloting the 80 with my son again this year and my brother is flying in from Atlanta to ride along. Family, cruisers, San Juan’s & friends…nothing better 😎

No matter how many times you've done it, or how many times you've rechecked everything it's always a relief to hear a motor come back to life quiet as a church mouse with no leaks. Test drive complete! Timing needs adjusted, final coolant flush, and new after a few more miles. It now also dies properly when oil cap is removed. A/C even works, as does the sunroof! Feeling a lot better now!

Saw my first 250 yesterday - looks ripe for a solid axle swap and 37's. SAS 29 anyone? 😆

The Sienna is feeling rather slighted here given the conversation it overheard leaving this lot...

I looked at one the other day at the dealership. I like it and would come up with the scratch for it, but still not a fan of the hybrid batteries. For once, Lexus actually came out with a better Land Cruiser. My 60 heard this conversation and decided to get back at me by developing a leak out of my T3 flange gasket.

Chris's Hilux developed an intake leak so it got an intake gasket yesterday.

Turns out it was bad, but there was a port we plugged poorly that was causing the leak. Now she's sealed up and running mint again.

🚨🚨🚨bummed but I won’t be able to make SAS and have an RV site at the KOA within the SAS group. Let me know if somebody wants it.

Always tough to hear folks having to cancel this close to the event, I had to do the same for Cruise Moab this year due to a sudden work obligation schedule change.

Unfortunately, I didn’t hear any updates on my waitlist status for this event, so I will not be able to make schedule arrangements on this short of notice to make the trip from TN if I did receive word.

I have a 20’ RV spot reserved at the KOA if @Unimogguy or @devo don’t need it that I plan to cancel this week, let me know if there’s anyone else looking and we can probably switch the reservation over to your name.

Maybe next year I will catch registration on time and make the trip, hope everyone has an epic time! Stay safe!

⚠️Public service announcement⚠️

I have just freed up a tent campsite (T13) at the KOA. I called up there and moved to another site. Pretty good location close to the showers and away from the donkey pen.

Good thing I called as they had a RV spot, deluxe cabin, and a JEEP RENTAL under my name!

You sure it wasn't a Donkey Rental?

Lift and new 33's are

done. It drives nice. The 33's help with highway speeds at low elevation, which will make the I-80 trip less sucky. The truck is way taller than I want but I don't want all the labor of pulling a leaf spring on every corner either. Hopefully it drops at least some. My list is getting shorter. We are trying to get the a.c. updated and running on r 134a. I have a new denso condenser sitting around that will go in tomorrow as well as o rings. Then vac it down and see.
Getting close but confident!

Well weather is good, so I got into changing the flange. Randy..... close your eyes. I don't want your pretty petrol hands to see how dirty this diesel is.View attachment 3684088

Oh that pipe is kinda OEM spec. They wanted a hose running from the front of the engine to heater core. I wanted make sure the hose stayed off of my exhaust manifold. So I went pipe all the way back.
