I have a 80 series sub tank system for sale.
What you get:
- OEM 13 Gallon sub tank in good shape. This goes above your spare tire. There are lost of threads about this. The tank has a few rust spots, but nothing serious. I would clean it, paint it, run a tank cleaner through it and install it. But that's up to you.
- All gaskets on the tank (sending unit, pickup, fuel drain, are new.
- The tank has the original fuel level sender on it. I have no idea if it works.
- A modified fuel pickup with a new filter. The 80 series sub pickup is not available anymore, and I could not find one anywhere. So you get a modified one from a 3B diesel tank, with a new filter on it.
- an additional gasket for the sending unit or fuel pickup.
- An additional fuel pickup unit, should you prefer to modify your own one. Part number in the pic. Note-this will NOT fit, but you can modify it as you want.
- An additional new fuel pickup unit filter.
- OEM straps for the tank
- Dual filler neck. This is new.
- A bunch of fuel filler hoses-the part numbers are in the pictures. You won't need all, but it is good to have options, depending on your install strategy.
- Vent hoses-part numbers are in the pictures.
- A transfer pump. Self priming, about 2GPM, US made, high quality.
- A bunch of adaptors that you'll need, depending on your install strategy.
- A switch that can power the transfer pump that will fit one of your blanks in the dash.
What you need to do:
- Read the threads about sub tank installs.
- Get the required nutserts and bolts
- Come up with a strategy of how you want to do this. I connected the fuel pickup with the vent line of the main tank through the same pump that you get. Switching on the pump will transfer all fuel from the sub tank to the main tank and fill it. You can go many ways with this, but that's the easiest.
$1000 for all of the above. I will ship this, but charge actual shipping costs in addition to the price. I have no idea how much that is these days, but given the size I would not expect less than $200. If you want I can pack it, give you the size and weight of the package, and you can arrange your own shipping and I'll drop it off at the carrier of your choice. Please give me a little time to pack all up well.
Happy to take more pics of anything that you want to see.
Thank you for reading through all this!
All pictures are in the following posts. The system tells me that there's a server error and to try later, so if you don't see anything, be patient. All pics will be there eventually.
