I hope I didn't come off as someone who's hating on the rig - it looks well built and serves a purpose. I linked the BaT ad because it gave a little bit more info and had more pictures.

As far as my comment on the price, I really do think $22k is a little high for something like this. Not saying that because I think it's a bad rig or what not, but vehicle values tend to drop off when things are highly customized like this one is. The auction on BaT clearly showed that - it was only bid to $10k (which is still low) but you get what I mean.

I personally don't like the fact that half of it is covered in diamond plate and the rhino liner as that can make it hard to determine if rust has properly can be taken care of, ya never know what's hiding behind that, and how rusty an FJ40 really helps determine it's value too.

All in all, I didn't mean to come off as rude or someone who's hating on it, things are worth whatever someone's going to pay. I just wanted to link the BaT ad and put in my .02 since well, because that's what this forum is here for (as long as you're not an ass about it)!

I don't think its hateful or inappropriate to say someones price is optimistic, it could be helpful to the seller. If the seller needs a quick sale, someone's opinion on price could be helpful.

I have to 2nd workingdogs comments, they don't seem disrespectful or inappropriate and I agree the two ton paint and the checkerplating just doesn't seem right... both colours are finished so nice and they are so close to being the same colour its a shame its not all painted the same colour. its not like its natural patina so it seems odd but to each there own, some like it clean, some like it patina, some like it original, some like it modified. its still a kick ass 40 that's for sure but 22k seems steep. Id like Iburnbreads 40 for 22k though
