PRICE REDUCED....my new vehicle is waiting at the dealership.
This 1980 FJ40 has been my 'keeper' for the past 12 years, located in San Antonio, TX. Yes, it has been 'babied'. Things change, so time for this legendary vehicle to go to a new home. Original 2F engine, 88k miles. Major restorations professionally performed: new tub replacement, repainted, complete OME suspension system, new carb & electric fuel pump. Other mod additions: bull bar, fog lights, Hell for Stout bumper, tinted windows, Tuffy console box, Jensen navigation, CD, disc player with rear speakers to enhance the beauty and functionality of this classic Land Cruiser. BF Goodrich (5) Mud Terrain T/A 33x10.50/15. All smog/vac lines still intact. Does not have the cab air conditioning component. No power steering (drive it like a man). I have numerous other photos of undercarriage, interior, exterior as requested. $45k. Thanks!

Thank you for your service. So it has the AC compressor but not the interior AC components? What exactly is it missing for the AC to operate? This is for my sister who lives in Florida :) And what kind of tub was it replaced with? Thanks

Thanks for your kind words. Previous owner removed the interior A/C component but left the compressor and engine components. I just left it the way it was. I had a 1981 FJ40 with A/C and only used it here in Texas a few times, so it was not a factor. I did have the window tinted as dark (legally) as possible and that cools things down about 15-20 degrees. Additionally, the kick vents front floor and the rear wing windows creates a nice flow thru ventilation. Tub was professionally done approximately 14-15 years ago, so you won't have to worry about rust. I further enhanced the protection by applying numerous coats of POR15 and Raptor liner. I believe it was an Aqalua tub. Thanks!
