LOL, laptops in every room logged into mud!

I agree with Charles.... from here on out you'll never wheel "lighter" only harder... go stronger. And now you know why i have hesitated for so long on the 800 doll hairs for longs... I do not want a $3000 axle and it still not be enough.... Dana60.

3K for a custom Dana 60 axle would be cheap. Definitely doable if you get a clean D60 front axle cheap and can setup the gears and install locker.

I think you'll end up with something closer to 4K to 6K if you want all high end parts (aftermarket knuckles, Superior Gear/CTM axles/ujoint or Bobby Long D60 longfields, re-tubing, 6 lug hubs, high steer, drive slugs, ARB locker etc.,)

I meant spending $3000 on getting a mini truck or 80 series axle built and still not enough.

Makes sense now. 3K for mini truck or 80 series front axle is not worth it.

...and yet that's what it takes to keep them alive

I'm a not-so-proud owner of said expensive axle :o

Don't feel so bad. You're young.

When you get to be old like the rest of us (people with gray hair, not using hair coloring), you'll have made even more mistakes. Live and learn? Live longer, make more mistakes, and learn more.. hahaha!!!

My only saving grace is that I might be able to part it out and make 75% of my money back :D

Dangit-looks like I've been doing it all wrong. Back to the drawing board for me.

Anything ya love is or will be expensive. There are no mistakes just experiences.

I like the zuk so I choose to spend too much on it. Mistake? Nah it's fun! Its like going to the casino only difference is I get alot more out of taking a loss this way then pushing a button and watching my money vanish in thin smokey air

Doesn't seem like much of a discount when you factor in shipping.
Does lifetime warranty apply to second owner or original purchaser only?

I agree, Charles. I believe the market would put heavy emphasis on OBO. Things aren't selling like they once were regardless of new or used with warranty.

I believe the warranty is transferable so long as you have the original purchaser's information or they're marked "Longfield". Unfortunately, I have neither for my Longs. But, I was told I just needed the email address given to purchase... Which I do have...somewhere.

Warranty is transferable. People are proud of their longfields, one of the reasons i got tired of looking for a set of used ones ..afew more bucks and i have a new set..

Hard to trust someone with 9 posts to his name.
I would sooner buy new since i havent seen that many good deals on longs lately.
