It ain't much being a N/A truck but the 2L doesn't suffer with the same head gasket issue as its newer replacement the 2LT does from what I understand. I'll see if I can find the numbers. I doubt you really want a diesel in that rig anyway.
There is a newer Suzuki vehicle right by my office that was crushed by a falling tree a few months ago. I wonder what it has for a motor? Could probably be picked up cheap.
