Well went to Sams Club to buy 33's. The tire shop at sams will not install the tires on the cruiser because it is not an upgrade listed in a book they have. The biggest size thy will install is 31. I already have 31. Bumer! I guess ill go with Discount. The only problem is that they dont have 33 10.5 in BF Goodrich.

How does your 62 sit with 2" shackles rear and 1" in front? Any pics to post?

you know, you can BUY them at sam's to get the lowest price and then take the tires to a mom & pop place to have them mounted and balanced...

And while you're at it, pickup some bacon and eggs and take them to your local restaraunt and ask them to make you breakfast. Why not just support your local small business and buy the tires from them. At least you won't be supporting a Mega- Business that trys to tell you what to install on YOUR truck. ;)

I had the same issue when I got my 33s last year: America's Tires refused to mount them, So I went to BigO and bought them there, they had no problem with it, and they were a bit cheaper!

Good point!

i dont know abuot sams but discount has always been cheaper than costco here for tires anyways

You can buy the tires from them, but they will not install them - Sam's and Costco, both. Insurance liability issues, I suppose.

Costco has not problem fitting my 80 37's......guess it could be who you talk to

Try a different Sams or a different person at that sams. I ordered them and had the sams here put them on.

Why not just go to Discount Tire and buy them there. They are a good company to business with, they have competetive pricing (I always haggle and set my price), and they are nationwide should you ever need to have one replaced while on the road. Also get the road hazard warranty from them and be completely covered. Free rotations, flat repair, and blaancing for the life of the tire. Why wouldn't you buy from them?

Two reasons
Discounts road hazard is good for 4 years only
Discount will not remove or install tires on a vehicle that use wheel spacers

Free rotations, flat repair, and balancing is common with most shops
If you ever need the free services that Discount offers bring your lunch

Not that I wont not buy from Discount but they are not what they were at one time.

Costso is out of 33x10.5 They will tell you that they are on back order but they never come- I tried to get some in Jan- never got them and gave up last week.

Same deal about them not mounting them- I could bring in the rims though.

Or, you can bring the wheels to them in another vehicle, like a pickup, and tell them it's for an F350.

Called discount about buying somewhere else and having them instal They sais no problem, but could not offer me the same warranties and services. I gues ill just have to buy 32 11.5 from them. The reason i buy from discount is that i have to buy on credit. cant afford 700 cash on a teachers salary. 90 days same as cash baby. pictures i have too big to post. maybe i can email to someone and have them post.

Those are all good points. I suppose it also depends a little on the inidividual dealers as well. My local ones in Chicago have been great and over-accomodating. I just found them to be better than the local warehouse clubs pricewise and servicewise.

I got a 35 mounted there. I would just ask really nicely, get a manager involved, if they sell it they can mount it.

Just my .02

Are the free replacement certificates worh the extra 80 bucks?

after shackles

hope its big enought. Had to resize cuz file was to bgg. it sits on 31. I think i can fit 33.

opps! guess not.
