That's what lead me to a funnel and duck tape - Wurks fer meCruiser88--When I burp it I have it on an incline, truck is running, radiator cap is off and the overflow reservoir is at the full mark. The truck reaches 190*, Tstat opens and I continue to let the truck run while looking for bubbles. I even slowly sart pinching the upper radiator hose trying to work some air out but the only thing that happens is coolant keeps slowly spilling out from the radiator caps opening and starts getting everywhere.

You're hearing air so I think you still have more to burp, but I don't think I've seen fan clutch refered to in this thread yet. Do you know if your fan clutch is good? A bad one can give you high temps at idle.On the way home I watched the mechanical gauge get to 190* I know the Tstat opens the temp will go down a little below 190* with coolant ciculating then it'll go to 210 at idle, start driving it goes down to 197* to 200* sometimes 204* and at shut down I can watch the gauge go to 220*. It's a little frustrating. Mike
