I am planning, for the time being, to run a powered, fused 12v DC wire from my battery through to the rear of my 2008 LX to power a fridge, and charge a bluetti inverter etc. I cannot remove my 3rd row yet because I still need it, but for now, I will just keep the connections free of the battery until I need to use it (and connect it for live power).
Anyway, I'm looking for a decent spot (battery side of course) that I can run my wires through.
I see a small portal right behind the a/c lines that might be suitable. Thoughts on this? Is it hard to access on the interior side of the vehicle under all the driver's dash mumbo jumbo? I'm wondering if there's another spot that I could run them through, I would need minimum 1 sq cm roughly (maybe 1/2x1/2 inch) room to run these lines.
I'd much prefer to do this on the battery side of my vehicle (Canadian/US spec 2008 LX570).
I'm looking for a very simple setup, I'm not super mechanically inclined, but enough to be able to simply set this up in a clean manner.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
