I will edit the info Andy, so when confirmations go out, 8 AM at Loon will be reflected, all drivers ready to depart by 9 AM.
No breakfast is included with the wagon run; however, anyone can swing by Ice House and have breakfast on their own. But as Andy notes, be at Loon by 8AM and ready to go by 9 sharp.
If you wanted the wagon run, but find it full, I recommend the Thursday straight through with Big Jim Adams. You will basically be following the wagon group into the springs on late Thursday afternoon, depending upon when they get up and get moving.
I am reminding everyone, including our trail leaders, that camping at buck is going to get sporatic. With Spider closed, the only camping along the trail (by water) is buck and there are no guarantees about spots available. Should any formal group arrive at Buck to find it full (especially Thursday night), don't be surprised if they push on to the Springs. We simply have no control over camping spots... and just because you see others parked and camping off the trail in an illegal fashion, does not mean it is acceptable. You can camp almost anywhere, but technically, your truck must remain in the 50' trail zone (figure 25' from centerline).
If you get asked by a Forest Ranger to move your truck, do not argue at all. Simply comply with the request. The Rangers are there to ensure everyone has a good time, and that we all abide by the law to the best of our ability. They are on our side.
I also want to remind everyone to expect the worst with regards to fire restrictions. Plan all cooking for propane. You are representing TLCA during Rubithon and are expected to follow the rules, regardless of what you personally think about them.
FYI and thanks!
