First, please put your truck info in your signature line. It'll save a lot of time.
Next, download the service manual for your year and model from the Resources section.
Finally, crawl under the truck and make a note of anything related to the suspension which is not metal, and note its condition. Remove the front wheels and do the same thing. If you see any damaged metal parts, take care of those before doing anything else.
» Replace the AHC fluid and bleed the system. Download Techstream and check your system for leaks and proper operation. You do not need new hydraulic struts unless they are leaking. If they are, replace them first. Techstream will (likely) indicate whether your accumulators are good or not, as well as the pump. Replace as necessary.
» Decide whether you want OEM parts or aftermarket parts and, starting at the front of the truck, replace everything rubbber, in order of most age/use damaged.
You don't have to do all of this at once; it can be a long term process. Once you have replaced the shocks or serviced the AHC system, as appropriate, and replaced anything obviously damaged or worn beyond obvious usability, prioritize the replacement based on whether you have ride or handling concerns.
» Ride concerns (in order of priority for effect):
1. body bushings; numbers 2, 3 & 4 first, then 5, then 1 & 6 if you feel up to it; or do them all at once, if you have the money
2. seat pads; you have no idea how much difference this makes
» Handling concerns (in order of priority for effect):
1. Upper and Lower Front Suspensions; or ball joints if you're not using OEM parts – you cannot buy just the ball joint from Toyota. Replace these as a set; both sides.
2. Front Anchor Arm Bushing & Stabilizer bushings
3. Rear Upper and Lower Control Arm bushings & Stabilizer bushings. Replace these as a set; both sides.
4. Three (3) Front Differential bushings
5. Three (3) Engine mounts
