Well, I finally finished the roof. Only took me about 6 weeks total.

It is far from perfect, but go take a look at picture one again... I'm happy with it. I probably should have painted something smaller than this first, but I'm boneheaded sometimes... or maybe just determined... anyway, I'm happy.
I'll try to get some daytime pictures tomorrow. It was dark while I was wet sanding the clear coat with 1500 grit.
The color appears to be a smidge lighter than what I have now. I think this could be remedied by a heavier coat of primer, and more coats of paint. I think the final count here was 6 coats of primer, 4 coats of color, 3 coats of clear. I could have applied the primer differently. I was using some rapid passes, slowing down the can would make for better coverage. I did that with the paint and clear coat. Worked better.
