What is the best roof rack Can I still get ARB. I think I want one that we work with a tent if we bought one in the future etc.

I like the Full length Kaymar. It has 4 mount points on each side to more evenly distrubute weight, and comes W/opt mesh flooring. I dont know the Avi of Kaymar, But when Im ready to spend more $$$, ill buy that one.

Sam, I'm curious who is 'we' you mention in half your posts?

The ARBs are not too easy to get and are very heavy from what I've been told. The Kaymar Tradesman seems to be the best bang for the buck. You can get one from Man-a-fre.

I know of some INTI racks that are headed to the US from Venezuela and can put you in contact with a person selling them.

I'd really like to get the one from Slee Offroad...but I have a few other things on the wish list that needs to get taken care of first.

The shipping weight on a 3/4 length ARB is over 100 lbs. It takes 4 people to put one on the roof to prevent damage.

ARB is importing the racks again. I got my ARB cheap, otherwise I would have gone for an aluminum one like INTI or Hannibal. I think the gutters would fail long before the ARB would. I don't put anything up there very heavy, so the capacity of the ARB is a little wasted on me. A nice, light aluminum rack would be fine for sleeping bags and such.
