Roof rack removed, is there a plug for that area???

My daughters truck had the roof rack removed and there are stainless steel bolts covering the treaded inserts. Is there a plastic cover for the whole area???

Yes part number 75557-60010 Roof Drip Side Finish Moulding for 98-05 not sure about other years.
I just replaced the factory rack with RhinoRack load bars and had to cut a new hole in the trim piece for the front mounting point and cover the old mounting point.

Make sure to plug the holes with some type of screws and silicon so they don't leak.

The roof drip moulding can be had for around $10 a piece I believe. I get a discount at my local Toyota dealer so they were a bit less. I had the roof rack with 6 footings. All the other stuff I found at my local big box hardware store. All in all I believe I spent around $100. I feel confident there will be no leaks and I really like the lines of the truck without a roof rack.

I had a leak in the same place my VW Sportwagen. It was the sunroof drains backing up from debris clogging the drains.

Yes. I had a leak that was caused by my roof rack footing; front passenger side. That is the reason I removed my roof rack. Leak came in through passenger side, ran down A-pillar moulding, next to glove box, and then near passenger side kick panel.
