Roof Rack LED's (1 Viewer)

I'm installing an "over cab" roof rack on my HJ45 Ute and am considering adding some LED light bars. I can accommodate up to 12" and would like 50W's+. I'm considering a design similar to this. I would appreciate information and opinions.

I have 3 48W Kawell lights on the front, and 2 45W Kawell on the back of my 80 series. I have them switched front together, and back together.

They are on a Yakima rack. I like Yakima clamps, because they stay in place but very easy to change the aim of them without tools.

Thanks .... I elected to go with a 42" 400W curved LED light bar that will contour to the front of the roof rack.

I have a CREE 52" curved 380W...

As long as the LED bulbs/units are actually CREE go for it. The cheaper non-CREE have multiple failure issues from what I have experienced and researched.

If anyone is interested I have two LED light bars, Rigid 20 driving pattern and Rigid 28 combo, sitting in my garage. Would love to unload them if someone needs lights for a project... Let me know. Serious output!

ProjectLM also has a ton of option for light bars. I think their mounts are universal as well.

I'm hoping to go with a 40 inch for the roof, if no one ends up buying my current ones I'll buy some smaller ones and construct a rack with smaller lights --should accomplish the same effect

To the OP, I'm starting my roof rack soon and have a combo 28" that will me mated with two 7" floods pointed out on either side. Just one more idea for you to play with!

I chose a 42" / 400W Curved Light Bar. I'm very pleased with it.
