I'm glad I stayed the course for the 63. I almost bought the 80 because it was all they had. The 63 is right on the verge of being to big as it is.
Did you get one of the 80's? I'd like to see some pics of that beast in a 60.Got mine yesterday. Only "scratch" I could find was a scuff on the lid. Will commence testing tonight, but I expect good things![]()
Ah, well that is a bit smaller.No, I got a 43qt.
My 63q went through it's first test this past weekend. Stayed on for 4 straight days in Big Bend set at 35. No problem with the rough roads at all or draining batteries. Batteries never went below 12.7. It also stayed very quiet while I slept in the back. Now that I know it works I brought it inside to scrub off the desert dust and add stickers.

Yes but we were always driving around most of the day. I did see around .5 amps in the morning and afternoon and 4.5 amps during peak sun. I have no clue if that is the norm. Need to do some research. With battery voltage not dropping below 12.7 Can we assume you have your solar hook up?
Does anybody know if this would work in a 24v system?
Cool I was curious cause in description it says:
- 12/24 volt power lead: 6' detachable power cord
