Just bought 6 TRD RC Wheels tonight for $660. 2 of them were brand new, the other 4 were slightly used! No lugs were included.

Not sure how its going to look on my black LC. I do plan on putting BP-51's with 2" lift. Haven't figured out what tire to go with this but don't want to mess up the speedo/tach.

Nice! That's a great price. Can I ask where you got them?

Off craigslist, someone local.

Anyone? Anyone mount 34x10.5x17 KO2's on stock LC200 with NO LIFT yet? Still trying to determine if they will rub....

I want to know as well.

From what i know, anything over 33" on RW needs a lift. Going with narrow tire may reduce rubbing. Lookup tire database for answers. @bjowett did a narrow tire at stock height. But he also upgraded the front arms to Tundra. I believe @BTUMAN is also running 34s.

I just got done mounting a 34" KO2 from my FJ to my 200 on rock warrior, and the tire hits the upper control arms when turned in just ever so slight.

Pictures? :-)

Sorry, I did it real fast only because this thread, I'm heading out on a 30 overland trip today. But if you turn a wheel, go to the one that is angled front of tire inward, and that is what just barely touches the stock arm. So while turning, you'll probably tear up the sidewall.

Are those stock UCAs? If not (or if so too I guess), can you tell how much additional clearance you'd need?

Thanks for the report! I appreciate it. Are your tires wide or narrow? Would that make a difference? I usually prefer narrow tires.

Mine on the 200 now are 295 wide so 12". Those pressed hard into the OEM upper control arm at the front bend when turned all the way inward. Those 34x10.50s only touched slightly. But it is enough for me to say the tire would be damaged while driving.

Total chaos arms have a smaller profile that left a 1/4" of clearance with the 295s, but since they are built with to be with added caster for a lift, I doubt your alignment will ever be good.

I did measure everything clearance related without the coil-over out and checked the entire suspension cycle, since a lift doesn't buy you clearance, just additional time before you rub, the 295/70r17 Cooper STT Pro or a smaller width but same height BFG KO2 34x10.50r17 with a total chaos upper does not run anywhere, but again they rubbed the OEM upper arm.

So for jerrys final thoughts on 34 KO2 on a stock height 200, the upper arm is what gets you, and there are other control arm options, TC is out because it's built for a lift, SPC does look promising because it looks to be that smaller profile because of a tubular design like the TCs instead of the rolled stamped sheet metal of the OEM upper arms, and with SPC you could get your alignment back in check.

If you want to go forward, I would put the SPC uppers in your truck, and go to a discount tire and have a test fit of the KO2s done, that's what I've been doing for years on the trucks I build, a fit doesn't cost you a thing if it doesn't fit. One disclaimer though, I have a winch bar, and thinking about it, a stock bumper might get pretty tight on that bottom part of the bumper where those little wind valences are.

Does anyone know if a 35 12.5 17 mounted on rock warriors would rub with icon fronts and spc arms? Would the addition of wheel spacers counteract the rubbing? Sorry if this is a repeat question. Tried searching but couldn't find a definitive answer.

You just described my very set up. It rubs a bit at full lock (such as tight parking spots) but thats it. You're gonna need the Slee sway bar relocation bracket to make that combo work... otherwise the KDSS / sway bar arm will be in your tires way when turning. Not sure spacers are going to do you any favors. Either call Slee and order the brackets or go the route of the Tundra CV axles and lower control arms swap. search for Nitro's page to find more info on that scenario. Get ready to spend some coin.

Thanks for the info Willy. I have been reading MSCruisers build thread as well. Are you running spacers or tundra arms and axles? From what I read, Brian Jowett's setup widens the track 3.5". Could the same effect be accomplished via 1.75" spacers? I know he gains additional wheel travel but I'm not in a position to go all out with tundra hardware at the moment. Trying to get all my ducks lined up so I can be prepared. Thanks, Dan

Just adding my new tires to this thread. 34/10.5-17 fits with no rubbing anywhere and no trimming. I do have BP51 and arb bar installed though. I would imagine rubbing if installed on stock 200.
