P.S. I just put on some decent rubber 315 75 16 Coopers and cleaned and reffitted my trusty 24v M8000

I am getting excited for the nearing of this trip!
If nothing between now and then breaks on my 40, I should have almost nothing to do in order to get it ready.

That was sort of the plan (who's 74 we took hadn't been figured out yet), but I've had a little wrench thrown in the works - last minute call to work on friday night that I can't turn down.
Looking to see if I can get a flight to Calgary in time, but looks like the first available one gets into cowtown at 8:30am... too late to make saturday's run.
I'll likely still do it if I can make my way there for saturday dinner, the sunday run and Liver Quiver :grinpimp:

Just gotta figure out the logistics.

Im sure I could come and get you Norm. Thats if I dont get lost.

Thanks Aaron, I appreciate that - but I don't want anybody to miss a day's trail ride to come get me.
I'm close to getting it figured out. I'm going to do a little ride begging on the RMLCA list and hopefully it'll all be good.

Looking forward to seeing the new rubber on your 74!

Mark your calendars for the 2012 event ( the last ever River Shiver if the Mayans have anything to say about it) .

This year's River Shiver is fully booked and bursting at the seams. Registration is now closed.

Looking forward to seeing all the 2010 participants in just two weeks!

Continuing on what Bruce said, looks like we're in for another great event, we've got 40 people (the absolute limit!) and 22 trucks coming.

Nice mix of 40's, 70s, and 80's with the average tire size of 34".

According to some scouts out on the trails last weekend they are snow on top of ice so expect some fun out there.

Thanks again everyone who registered, and who expressed interest,

The RMLCA RS2010 Organizing Committee

prepare to winch

Here's a picture of some of the snow on ice hill climbs we encountered on the weekend on one of the new trails:

weathernetwork.com report for Cochrane says sunny with highs between 0-3 degrees for friday-sunday, wow that's mild!

Who's dumb idea was it to have the winter Olympics in Canada? Its way too hot here. We're going to be warmer than Round Up.

Hey Bruce, heard from a little bird John for Radd is showing up for this event and sponsoring it also?;)

You heard anything?

Rob
