Got experience with it? It's quite expensive compared to self etch primer and bed liner

Roll cage, Spidertrax 9 axle, 4 link, all with it!

Here's my cut. Same bumper, no fumes. You can also see the 24gal LRA.

Greetings, is that an RLC weld fab bumper? If so, were there any issues with fitment with the 24 gallon LR tank?

Hi, yes it's an RLC. I was second on the list after WillyB so I've had it for 5 years now. No fitment issues with the LRA at all.

Unbelievable - the average quote I have received for local powdercoating is 600 bucks

Looks like I'll be rattle canning my bumper

Totally reasonable. As long as you responsibly prep and etch that's going to be fine.

Does that include sandblasting prep? If so, that sounds about right.

Nice ! Did you request any custom work ? Are you going to powder coat?
I'm going to paint/etch myself. Only that so far I requested tire carrier and 2 jerry can holder. He has let me know he can make me a 20lb propane tank holder that can switch out for a jerry can holder.

So I am waiting for a shipping quote, another question will the tire carrier swing open with a 1up bike rack?

I don’t have the 1up yet it was ordered early December and 6-8 week delivery time frame.

Pretty much no bike mount works with a swing out, other than a Lolo Racks bike rack.
You have to add a swing away type mount to any other brand in order to make it clear, OR a drop hitch receiver may work, as well.

I bought this hitch extender, along with this anti-rattle thing. I have a 2 Bike 1-UP USA rack. It was needed to push the rack further back because of the tire. To open the swing-out it's kinda a pain with the bike rack. You have to remove the bikes (obvi), and drop the rack down to the lowest position to open the swingarm. The advantage of the 1-up racks is the good departure angle because the rack steps up like stadium seating. Unfortunately, this works against swing out bumpers. At least the 1-up has the ability to tilt down

Yeah the upgrades all have a give and take for sure. Aux fuel tank def one of those, change 1 thing, leads to needing to change more. Every once in a while i get jealous of people happy with a very capable still stock cruiser. But what fun would that be. I can latch my swingouts with the upper hatch open. Would a sheet of drywall not fit resting on the spare?

nice 3 jerry can holder!

What did you do for splash guards? So far all that makes sense is to take them off.
Yep. you should have gotten a couple thin gauge bent aluminum pieces to fit inside the rear wheel well after splash guard removal.
I bought a small black plastic trash can to cut new splash guards / mud flaps out of, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
