This thread will focus on install and install modifications to fit the Rival 4x4 LandCruiser 200 Gen 1 and Gen 2 front bumper Model 2D.5724.1-NL onto a Gen 1 LX570.

The bumper is a 3/16th steel winch plate and mount, and one piece 1/4” aluminum shell. There is no hoop option.

For the LandCruiser this is a no cut install, with two models avail, one for gen 1/2 and one for gen3.

Here’s a blended render of what the final install could look like.

Here’s the finished install. Very similar to the render!

The pallet weight for shipping was 205 lbs.

Some beta on taking the stock grille and bumper cover off, and putting the Rival4x4 bumper on.

Also included the Gen3 install manual, as I looked at this as a potential option as well for the gen 1 LX.

Initial impressions -
The powder coat looks good
There isn't any damage from shipping I can see
The pinch weld around the head lights is pre-installed.

Shipping prep has the mount and bumper bolted together. The manuals (2 English provided) and accessories all bubble wrapped in the winch cavity.

It's very large looking off the truck.

Install looks very straightforward for those with a TLC. I'm expecting some additional tasks to make it fit the LX.

The parking sensor and light washer brackets are riveted into the inside of the welded shell. I do not plan to reinstall the light washers. I'll need to terminate that piping. I do plan to put the parking sensors back in, unless the hole diameters aren't the same, then I'll think about it.

hurry up man 😝
Hope to chip away at it this weekend - maybe get everything done but the bumper cover customizations. One can hope anyway.

Book time is 4 hours per the instructions

Made a couple projection templates to help with potential future trimming

My grille and cover clips wanted to stay attached. So I took them off together.
Broke one of the light washers trying to unclip the trim cover. Bummer, but want going to reuse them anyway.
Still managed to dump a couple cups of washer fluid before I realized I had no real plan to pinch those hoses. My radiator hose quick clamps are somewhere in the garage. For now the washer pumps are doing it.

Looks like I have a laser and radar detector up front . Those will need to move . . . Had to disassemble the license frame to get the radar detector small enough to fit they the bumper cover

Dang, I'm surprised it actually made it! Did you order since the beginning of march?

On step 19 - mount winch bracket.

Have some rust on the horns to take care of first.

Winch mount - 50lb
Bumper shell -60 lb
Brackets - 2 lb
Used a luggage scale, so around 110lb total for the bumper. Haven’t weighed the oem stuff yet.

Rust converter drying. Hope to prime before dark.

Yeah, ordered in late February. Right before the invasion and subsequent sanctions.

So, we won’t be able to order from them anymore?
I really liked the look of that bumper.
They’re taking preorders with 9/30/2022 delivery.

Buff out those headlights!

It's definitely a bummer if we can't get this bumper - seems like a good option. I'm excited to see what the finished product looks like.

EDIT: just saw ^ you said there might be another shipment. Total cost?
