What's wrong with it???

You're other thread is a bit cryptic.... you said all I have to do is injectors to I have a cylinder down.

Down how???

If the motor is truly trashed, go for an engine swap.... a gm 6.2 or 6.5 is fairly easy..... or just get another 3FE for it.... they are fairly cheap to find.

Edit.... engine swap from easiest to most difficult

Carb'd 350 chevy

6.2/6.5 diesel

4bt/6bt diesel

LSX - toyota 4.7 (these will require a different trans also)

Cost wise they pretty much line up the same also.

Those vortec's are considered part of the lsx line, since everything is swap-able.

as for the car'd cheby.... didn't recommend it just threw it up there as a simple swap for comparisons sake. Not sure if that swap would even fly in NC.

start by letting us know what exactly is wrong with it and then i'm sure the collective "wisdom" of this group can point you in the right direction.

I have a leak down tester. You should really start at square 1 and see what is the actual problem. You are hypothetically spending money and time that may not be necessary. The 3fe is a tank. I've over heated twice, once with a fist sized hole in the radiator and am fine. She was designed to run with a 3fe, let's figure out what's what and go from there.
