I purchased my prado with 33x12.50 15 tires on it and I am moving to a 235 85 16 inch tire. The wide 33s are not for me. My question is what steel 16 inch rims will work without worrying about backspacing? I was thinking I would get the cheep tacoma 16inch steels. Does anybody here have those on theirs? What 16 inch rims are you all using? I like the utilitarian look.

42601-60262-03 16X6 OEM Toyota Steel Wheels for 70 series. Will work with the tire size you mentioned.

If you have factory flares, it won't look very good though (in my opinion).

The Tacoma steel wheels are about 4.5" backspace. You will need spacers there.

Thanks for the info! This is probably the way I want to go. I did not realize you could get 70 series wheels here in the states! I don't have flairs on mine.
