The yellow submarine?

That spot looks familiar..

Jeff, Hopefully there wasn't any more involved than just drying it out. It appears you drove out of there OK.

Warning Warning all FJCs; riding with old iron can be hazardous to your vehicle. They have little regard for tires under 35" and they have no clue what electronics are!

Any water make it inside the cab? I hear when the seatbelt sensor under the seat gets submerged the computer can freak out with a bunch of dashlights. My amp is 1" off the floorboard so richloam always worries me.

What does "old iron" refer to?

Just because I have no carpet, no doors, no top, minimal electronics, and lots of rust doesn't make me "old"... OK maybe a little bit, and I still don't like to go submarining. Maybe in clean fresh water...

Now that's some funny chit right there. I have no idea where the swamp mud under the intake manifold came from... Honest... you say it's in the starter too? No idea at all sir...

Keep those plates blurred! LOL!

Side note: have you all seen the new Land Rover Sport? The thing has sonar on it to tell you how deep the water is, and how far you can go until you're past the point of whatever it is that goes bad in those things if you go too deep.

Now it'll be like those water stickers in cell phones - if the computer sees you went in 2'5" of water, and the "max" it can handle is 2'4", warranty void!

Seems like it would be ok if you were in shallow water, but if it was deep enough to worry about it would be too little too late. What about the mud puddle that has 8" of water covering a mud hole a fridge would fit in?
