Also it looks like they are going to be closed until the 7th of January... may not be bad as it looks like further discount will increase from 5 to 10 % if we have a group buy of 10+

I agree. We should shoot for 10+ buyers to get an additional 5% off.
Do we have any details on the spot light bar? Is this something we could buy later here in the states from rigid or is custom for their bumper?

I'm happy to see if folks want to join in by early January. There's a possibility I'll be in South America from 12/31 until 1/15, so if I end up going on that trip, it'll buy us a bit of time because I'll be backpacking/off the grid if I go.

It looks integrated from everything I've seen. You definitely won't find one in the US made for this bumper.

@prharper Could not figure out how to upload pictures in the DM... so put it here... and maybe I could get a little more help.
SO... I finally had a good mechanic put the bumper on my 2015 LC. We cannot, for the life of us, figure out why it won't fit well. If anyone is near DC or within driving distance, I could really use some help (I will drive to you). I am unfortunately unable to help much or do much due to some old USMC injuries, so I really need a hand from anyone who has some experience putting these things on. Here are some of the fit issues:
DS wing sticks out about an inch:
DS wing and center piece are not flush together:
PS wing and center are not flush together:
The seal is interrupted by a piece of the headlight:
I am desperate for help because I simply cannot do it myself. Appreciate any help provided.

I'd send it back to the mechanic that did the work. Most of these projects aren't purely plug and play, they often involve some troubleshooting. That passenger side gap plus the driver side gap could very well result in the driver side wing misalignment. The headlight bucket issue could be sorted by cutting a slit in the rubber - it's just for cosmetics right?
Oh, and it looks like there is some exposed metal that hasn't been primed or painted back there. It looks like rough angle grinder marks. You might want to get something on there. If your "good mechanic" did that, I'd have some concerns about their conscientiousness.

I'm not close enough to help, but I did just help install a Rhino bumper on a '16 Land Cruiser. Those gaps should close up just by tightening the hardware that holds the wings on. Tightening the wings to winch cradle may cause alignment issues elsewhere though.
On the bumper I helped with, we tightened from the frame out. Basically:
1. Tighten frame mounts to frame
2. Tighten winch cradle to frame mounts
3. Tighten wings to winch cradle
4. Tighten outer wing supports to wings
5. Tighten upper and lower mid-sections to wings
6. Install and tighten skid plates from the front back
Each time you tighten something, check that the un-tightened parts have range of motion to end up where you want them. If they dont, go back and loosen and adjust the last part you tightened in the direction you need the next part to go. Beyond the frame mounts, every part has built in adjust ability through the use of elongated, or oval, mounting holes.
I did find that the skid plate instructions were not very useful. I used the Rhino supplied bushings in the 2nd furthest back bolts which allowed the OEM transmission skid to bolt the back of the Rhino skid. I used some longer bolts in the rear of the front skids which allowed them to bolt to the frame cross member under the radiator. This also allowed the rear skid to "lip into" the back of the front skid.

Agreed with @CharlieS I'd suggest bringing it back to the guy who did it, but that's also a little scary since it doesn't appear to be installed well right now unfortunately. Are you 100% sure you received the pre-facelift bumper? The key with this bumper is not tighten and torque anything down until the alignment is just right. It's totally modular, so each piece needs to be aligned individually, carefully torqued, then checked everywhere to ensure nothing moved. It's a process that is not kind to someone rushing to get it done which is likely why it looks like someone used a grinder in there. First step is to ensure you have the right bumper, then the next step is to figure out if you want to try to tackle this or take back/find a new mechanic. It's not super difficult, but it will be somewhat time consuming because most of the bolts and fasteners will need to be undone or loosened, aligned, and then re-tightened.
I just took a closer look at this pic, and it is appears there is a very important bolt missing there. Those three pieces need to be totally flush with each other, so you're either missing bolts or the ones here are not torqued properly. I am looking back at old pics of mine trying to find an up close detail shot, but not having any luck. Here are two however that show the wings are tight and flush with the center section, and that is critical for the wings to have strength as they need to tie into the frame.

Agree with all the comments above and with @mcgaskins. When I installed solo on my 2018 over the winter - first attempt, it stuck out on the side more and Ben at Rhino advised me that the gap was too close (need to be able to fit fat part of your finger in the gap to allow flex when wheeling). Pics below were first attempt. I then loosed everything back up and had to play with a lot of back and forth adjustments on side and front. Was easier second time around and would have been much quicker with another set of hands. Small adjustments before tightening down and patience. Last photo was second and final attempt.
