This bumper color matched is pure awesome.

Thank you for all the replies... I verified that at least the order was pre-facelift. I will keep everyone posted as you are all deeply... DEEPLY... invested in my overcoming this hurdle (see what I did there, right?)

I am currently trying to track down some help. At the end of the day, I simply cannot do it. Did anyone have a digital copy of the install instructions?

I have a pre facelift Rhino bumper coming on Thursday, so if you don't get assistance between now and then I'll scan and post the instructions. I recall them being not terribly helpful - things like "step one prepare vehicle by removing all OEM components, step 2 install new bumper" 😆

What truck is it going on??

For anyone needing clarification on removing OEM components, search for the ARB bumper install video on youtube by Australian Images. They hit the main points of OEM bumper removal in the video. You'll need to remove what they removed, plus the front skid plate and skid plate mounting bracket to install the Rhino bumper and skids.

I have two of these pieces... can anyone show me where they are supposed to go? They look like a left and a right.

I'll look through old photos on my external backup hard drive tonight to see if I can find those, but they don't look like the parts my buddy and I installed on our trucks which were both 16+ bumpers (he heavily modified his for the Lexus - do not try at home). Here is the only pic I can find right now which shows one bumper before the wings/face gets mounted, and on the other with the wings mounted up. Hopefully you can tell there is a main center piece that attaches to the frame, the winch cradle sits on top, and the wings bolt to the center piece. It's "simple", but also complicated in the sense each piece needs to be aligned independently and moving one piece affects the others. I don't know how different the pre facelift bumpers are, but I imagine they're similar in design - maybe the 16+ bumpers are easier to install if they updated the design? I will pull instructions on Thursday when my pre facelift bumper arrives here.

They support the headlights. They bolt to two existing bolts in the firewall outside the radiator. They then angle inwards to the inside, lower corners of the headlights.

Awesome... and I did NOT get that detailed set of instructions. I got 4 pages and something like... "after you bolt part a on... do everything else and you should be good."

@Stumpalama here is a much better set of instructions.

There is another 4 page set of instructions in the box which talks about loosening the KDSS valves and unbolting the sway bars, but we definitely did not have to do that when we installed the first 2 bumpers. I didn't include those in my post because I didn't want to confuse anyone, but I will see if for some strange reason these pre facelift bumpers require that when I install it.

Hello everyone, first post on here. I just got a LX570 and building it up a bit. I first saw this bumper and loved it. An I ordered mine.

The thing that confuses me is everyone is talking about prices $4,000 plus and Australia.

I am not sure if people know but these bumpers are NOT made in Australia. They are made in Argentina! You can imagine the shipping this to Australia and then back to USA from Argentina is a huge expense.

If you order from them in Argentina they are ~$1,700 and $700 shipping to USA for $2,400 total shipped to the USA.

Still expensive but about half of what some people paid.

This is what it is going on. Just put wheels and tires. I moved the AHC sensors in front, but don't know if will need long term new springs so I won't mess up the suspension with the weight of the bumper and winch on the AHC. I won't raise it more since I like how it cruises like this and has a more than enough lift for me in high.

Well hopefully this helps you guys.

We paid about $2200 US. Sounds like you maybe overpaid a bit. 🙂

I have a heavy Ironman bullbar, lights and 12k winch on my LX and it raises and lowers just fine FYI.

$2400 without the PITA wait and logistics of a group buy sounds pretty fantastic.

Are they taking payment to Argentina or through the USA. If it is a wire to Argentina they are losing half on the exchange rate. So might be able to buy it for half that if you have an Argentine friend who can exchange at the blue rate.
