next i bolted the seats in the frames temporarily. the guys at ace had mis-packaged the lock-nuts i needed so i could'nt mount them permanently. hence the cage is sitting on top of a few 2x4s in the tub right now. otherwise the seat mounting bolts would ventilate the tank for me. they're extra long right now and need to be trimmed, but not until i have the proper hardware on there. here's a pic of the cage in the rig without the luggage rack.
