We'll look forward to seeing you on the trail again soon!

Baloney! You'd shrivel up and die if you did not have your work.
Unless Sara knocked you off with a frying pan first.

I assisted Dan with his retirement planning a couple of weeks ago. Some guys plan to buy sailboats and cruise around the world. Others build cabins in Montana. I originally thought Dan would be the 85' mobile home guy with a trailer pulling the Cruiser. Wrong.

Dan's retirement plan is dual computers, each with quad processor Xeons. One for the 3TB server, the other as a high-end workstation with 4 huge LCD screens. On one screen he wants the Toyota Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC); another will have the FireFox browser with tabs set up for all of the IH8MUD forums; 80-Tech, 40-Tech, Chat, etc. Another screen will be a steaming video feed, primarily for The History Channel but he will be able to select others when desired. (Gub shows and Glenn Miller specials.) He wouldn't tell me what the 4th screen was for but he had me unblock all the p0rn web sites in the wireless router but only for the IP address that I assigned for his workstation. He also had me install some United Parcel Service software and a special printer for those UPS shipping labels.

This is only speculation, but I think the guy is planning to "retire" by selling us Toyota parts in his skivies, with a beer in one hand and a mouse in the other. :D

He had a small addition added to the back of the garage. It has room for 1 twin bed, a bathroom, and a small kitchen. I can already hear Beno saying, "Yes, Mister Busey, I'll get that birfield shipped out today."

Very creative Mikey!

Dan's Plan directly from the Man. I get no credit other than working out the technical details (plus an additional 30% off on Cruiser parts.)

I know the room on the back of the garage is for Beno because the bed is only 2'x5' long. If the bed had been 6'x6' then I would have suspected that it was built for me. :)

he is an old member and apparently doesn't have to work anymore. we love to hear his "Loosianna assent" and "baawoods" line of thinking.:flipoff2:

An we be's lookin' fer 'im on the trail now.

You has retired from what?

Ali,
I'll answer for David because he only makes these strafing runs quarterly so we all forget what he was talking about between his posts. I think David lost his mind about 3 years ago but that hasn't been confirmed.

David used to work for your rich uncle. He was some type of pilot for what is now Homeland Security or whatever that bureaucracy is named.

Think of David as a very old and ugly Onur with a New Orleans accent. Maybe a little taller :D

Thanks Mike, that clears up a tad...
