Seems to me that I am in a similar situation. I have laughed it off for the last 13 months saying I pay for a storage facility that comes with a free mechanic. I finally told the father and son team to s*** or get off the pot. My parts suddenly made their way to the powder coater and a 11am meeting is set to discuss the last few mechanical issues.
 
@Mechnizer posted some progress this past weekend. Looks like the manifold is on, some lights are being installed and wired, cage from @lcwizard is in, and soft top bows are painted and installed.

Thought this beauty had a hard top and doors? What was the final plan for the rear opening with out a top?

Yes, it has a hard top and doors. I wanted to go with soft top as well. Mike found a set of barn doors to reconfigure and mount.
