Requesting help on a part. (1 Viewer)

Morning everyone,

As you can hopefully see from the pic included, I have the old wheels on my 1981 BJ40. My father in law bought it new in 1981 and we restored it in 2017. It needs some freshening up and I have purchased the chrome covers for the wheels. I’m looking for advice as to where I source the part that holds them in place.

IMHO. It’s time to ditch the split rims and upgrade to a set of either FJ40 steel wheels with the clips or a set of US spec late 40/FJ60 wheels.

Much easier and safer in the long term.

Agreed @71-CRUISER and would you believe I have a set being in refurbed as we speak but my father in law is a stubborn 80 year old who wants to keep it all original. So it’s a happy medium at the moment getting the centre inserts for the older wheel(albeit a temporary fix).
