I need to replace sheared bolts for a Transfer Case Protector and transmission Oil Strainer. I'm thinking drill and tap is the best (only) option but I'm having trouble finding the OEM bolt specs for the greater than size and thread reference. I've looked in both volumes of the Repair Manual and found only bolt torques.

I'm wondering if Anyone can advise if:
- I have missed it in the RM Volumes, or if there's even a source for this info ?
- There's a better way forward ?

I appreciate your help! 🙏

I owe you one. Thank you! Incredibly generous people here have helped me complete a few diy’s. Need to pay it forward.

Can you recommend a reference for this information please?
