If you are replacing a brake booster on a FJ-60, do yourself a favor before installing the replacement. Drill the mounting holes in the firewall a little larger. I removed what must have been the original booster. It was like they had installed it with a hydraulic press!! I spent a whole Saturday pulling, prying, wrestling with the booster. I even killed my Dremmel tool trying to cut the studs off. Finally, using a hacksaw blade, and pretending I was escaping from Alcatraz, I cut the bottom stud closest to the fender. Once I had that cut, it came out.

Drilling the holes a little larger (3/8") made it much easier to install the replacement, and I hope if I ever need to remove it again, easier to remove.
