I'm looking for good sources for odd shaped springs for wiper arms... I have a JDM BJ44 with a rare compound wiper arm (see photo) and I have not been able to find a replacement spring that works.

I can see that it is close tot he stock version, but the straight hook is a little longer than a standard spring for a simple wiper arm.

I posted this thread with some of the differences for example. JDM 40 Series Compound Wiper Arm vs US Arm Questions - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/jdm-40-series-compound-wiper-arm-vs-us-arm-questions.1229558/

Does anyone have a good source for springs where I might be able to find anything that could work?

Thanks in advance!

K,

Articulated pantograph wipers have been used on boats, buses, etc. for a long time. You might want to check a marine supply store for either parts or a full replacement. HTH
