Since no one asked, I will. Has anyone replaced the damper with an aftermarket version? If so, what were the results?
I have an OME on my '94 (PO installed, I don't know when, and it's not my DD) and OEM on both my '95s. The '94 steers like new, the '95s like a 40. Without power steering.
I have ignored them, but this thread made me start thinking about why I haven't replaced them.
