Replacement front cowl mount and lower windshield frame

I had no luck finding a replacement from cowl mount since the ones on the cowl I will be using are shot. I figure I will just use some 2x2 or something but wanted to see what others have done.

Also I remember seeing that you could get lower windshield frames somewhere. The one I have is mint except for the under edge where the vents are.

Still havent found a cowl mount yet. Im sure Im not the only one who needs to replace them.

Bumping up on this.

Need some input on the lower cowl body mounts and I also need the front section of the rocker panels since the 3/4 tub I have has the rockers cut in the middle.

Is this what you mean by cowl mount...

I asked the exact same question here on mud.

A guy from Extreme Bends in Canada suggested the 2 x 1 box. I opted to try and fix myself. Turned out OK.

These are before pictures.

Dont have any pictures of the finished mounts, but I used 16 guage metal to weld to as much of the mount as i could save.
