After searching I couldn’t find a simple thread on replacing the steering wheel badly worn chrome Toyota logo or emblem. I ordered a matte black one off EBay and installed it. It’s a bear to remove. I finally disconnected the battery because I was constantly honking the horn. I used simple plastic trim removal tools. It takes a lot of effort!! Man I was surprised. And two of the tabs on the replacement didn’t line up well so I snipped them off completely. A bunch of dabs of crazy glue and I’m pleased with the outcome. Did it about a week ago.
