I finally found a replacement plug for the Denso K22PR-U - It was the NGK BKR7EVX-11. I pulled all 8, installed the new 8 and hooked everything back up and now she will not start. There is a supercharger on the rig and these are the plugs that TRD recommends for their S/C.

She cranks, fires off and then shuts down. It appears that she is going through the normal start sequence and then 2-3 seconds later she cuts out.

I check all of the connections, vacuum and electrical and everything is hooked up. Mind you, it's a little dark, but I had a very bright flash light...I will re-check in the AM.

The passenger side install was very vanilla, 4 plugs with coils, time to change all four was about 20 minutes.

The driver's side was a little messy and that's where I think the trouble is -

Is there an engine harness on that side and if so what do you think the implications are if you were to mess with a 12 year old, heat baked cable?

I do not want to take her to the stealership, any help or guidance would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks -

Does your rig have an auto-shut down system if there is no oil pressure? A lot of cars do. You may of bumped into the oil pressure wiring and it gets no pressure reading after it starts, so as a safety measure, it stops running. Just a guess. John

Did you plug the MAF sensor back in? When I did my plugs I finished putting everything back together, fired it up and it would just spin over.... Then I came to find out that I never plugged it back in. After that, it was all good

Curious if that gave you a check engine light? And to the OP, any CEL?

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. It will stall first time after it is reconnected, but might re-calculate itself the 2nd try.

Operator error -

I missed the MAF sensor. Once connected she fired right up and I am a happy camper.

The Bilsteins were also installed, I'm happy with the new feel. Tires next week...
