I finally found a replacement plug for the Denso K22PR-U - It was the NGK BKR7EVX-11. I pulled all 8, installed the new 8 and hooked everything back up and now she will not start. There is a supercharger on the rig and these are the plugs that TRD recommends for their S/C.
She cranks, fires off and then shuts down. It appears that she is going through the normal start sequence and then 2-3 seconds later she cuts out.
I check all of the connections, vacuum and electrical and everything is hooked up. Mind you, it's a little dark, but I had a very bright flash light...I will re-check in the AM.
The passenger side install was very vanilla, 4 plugs with coils, time to change all four was about 20 minutes.
The driver's side was a little messy and that's where I think the trouble is -
Is there an engine harness on that side and if so what do you think the implications are if you were to mess with a 12 year old, heat baked cable?
I do not want to take her to the stealership, any help or guidance would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks -
